PART-TIME DEMO ASSOCIATE
(Various Store Locations in
NYC & Hamptons)
(12-24 hours a week)

Support the Citarella
brand overall and offer
great customer service
-
Engage customers by
creating brand awareness
and enthusiasm
-
Engage customers
professionally
one-on-one to showcase
the products, offering
sampling, and suggestive
selling ideas which
generates enthusiasm for
the product and drives
sales
-
Study product materials
to develop product
knowledge
-
Execute the demo
schedule at the store
level for both store and
vendor based demos
including confirming
receipt of product,
preparing product,
set-up, and clean-up
-
Assessing program
effectiveness, providing
customer feedback, and
offering suggestions for
improvement
-
Passion for food.
-
Prior food demo
experience.
-
Ability to prepare and
cook product as needed.
-
Prior experience with a
food establishment
service or restaurant is
desired.
-
Excellent interpersonal
and language skills to
engage our customers.
-
Ability and interest to
learn effectively about
our products.
-
Ability to work well
within a team
environment with the
store, customer service,
marketing, and
warehouse.
-
Positive attitude that
is focused on solving
problems.
-
Ability to follow
instructions and
established procedures.
-
Strong organizational
skills and ability to
prioritize effectively.

Ability to perform
simple math operations
i.e. addition,
subtraction,
multiplication and
division
-
Ability to perform
physical requirements of
position i.e. standing
for extended periods of
time, lifting loads not
to exceed 50 pounds,
pushing/pulling carts up
to 100 pounds, using box
cutters
-
Ability to work a
flexible schedule
including nights,
weekends, and holidays.

Ability to work in our
locations in either
Manhattan or the
Hamptons
